8. sonicam
7. PsyBorg
6. SJ
5. gamersince93

I think you'll agree that, due to exceptional circumstances, the bios would be better off being delayed rather than rushed out (as many of mine were). So, as mentioned, we're releasing the top ten lists and doing the bios later. We'll also post the older ones again so they're all in the one place.

So, without further ado...

UNIVERSAL TOP 10

#10: sonicam
#9: douglas
#8: SS101
#7: F-Man
#6: SM
#5: Taco
#4: RPG
#3: eredani

*drumroll please*

#2: ...no one?
#1: Sprint/mike89 (This was our big surprise which was meant to be revealed today. It was the idea behind releasing the last two bios for each set on the same day, not so everyone knew the #1 a full day beforehand as was mentioned in the chat [though that did work favourably too]. Instead of attempting to split Sprint and myself, RPG suggested this solution. I thought it was fair.)

Now, some recognition for those who didn't quite make the list. Certainly, our periodic list had a short list of about 25 players who made themselves available for selection, and the high echelon of the periodic top ten were considered in the universal as well.

So here's a list of those who deserve their own little bit of recognition:

yoshifan - Was incredibly unlucky. We had actually drafted him at #10 periodic... and was later replaced by Rolken, on a spur of the moment decision about an hour before I put the bio up. Gets an honourable mention for impressive efforts in Shadow and S&K.

Spinballwizard - I promised him in advance that if he was able to make the Big Three on Sonic Advance 2, he'd get a spot on the periodic list. He didn't quite get that far, but he got pretty close, and was in our considerations right to the end. Also did other cool stuff across loads of games.

Marth - If not for F-Man, Marth would be the undisputed champion of Sonic Adventure DX - and probably worthy of a top five, let alone top 10 in the periodic list. Unfortunately, F-Man has once again overshadowed one of our top competitors, and I'm sure we'll see Marth in the next edition of the Top Tens.

SkyLights, and later Crowbar - For getting Sonic Rush TAing on its feet, and taking it to new and unprecedented levels, respectively.

magnum12 - Holds credible rankings in both Shadow and Heroes, though most of the work on the latter was done before the periodic time frame. Still one of our top 3Ders.

maggot - Took, arguably, the most difficult championship in Sonic CD, given Sprint's stranglehold on it in the past. Again, though, the foundation was set before the periodic time frame.

Greham Adelphis - Came out of nowhere to take Sonic 3D, and was highly ranked on Sonic Chaos as well. He lapsed out of TSC for a while, before recently returning and making another push towards S3D.

And finally...

Aitamen - My pick as TSC's newest rising star. If Psyknux is the Destroyer of Legendary Records, then there isn't a title fitting enough to document the scalps Aitamen has taken of late. On Sonic 2, he holds, among others, the Hill Top 1 Knuckles, CP1K, and AR2K records, all of which had stood for considerable lengths of time. Add to that his work on score attacking the game, and we have a real force to be reckoned with on our hands. If he acquires his own Sonic 2/3/Knuckles carts a new period of domination may begin...

I already think Aitamen is a total force to be reckoned with. Very impressive with the records.

#2 periodic?  Blimey!  Congratulations to everyone, and kudos to RPG and mike for running this in the first place.

Also dead right about Aitamen for the effort that went into the S2 score records and some mighty SS ring counts, as well as awesome times.

Now to start my assault on the next set of rankings ^_^

I wonder if next time we do this list, we should add some new divisions for the top 10's such as best 2D/3D players for a little twist. It's cool that I made honorable mention. Was that list for the periodicals, universal, or both?

WOOO!!!  *dances in own glory*

I'm a happy person.  Congrats to everyone on this list, deffinately.  Again, we're shown just how much Sonic we don't know ^_^.  My goal is perfection of these games, whoever's hands may do the deed!

But not only that, but props to all the people out there who didn't get on this list, for at least having the courage to post a few rec's and show your stuff to the world of TSC.

In Short, props to TSC!  THE BEST SPOT FOR SONIC!

and thanks, especially, go out to Mike, RPG, and SM... for making me able to trash all of their records ^_^

Okay, time to give this thing an update.

I would like to indicate at this stage that there will be a NEW FORMAT for the next top ten. I'm not sure just yet exactly what it will be, but the standard top ten format is not going to work any longer.

Possibly, magnum, possibly.

I would even go so far as to say they would have many different Top 10s such as Top 10 TAers, SAers, etc., but that sounds like way too much work for them, especially considering how they never finished the bios for the last top ten (even though that was mostly RPG's fault... >_>).

Still, can't help but wonder what this 'new format' is gonna be...

Also v2.0 of my TSC calculator is available to use. You should totally use it.

Hahaha! I'd kind of forgotten about that. I was going to post what I thought was said, but I figured
it'd be better to get the exact words by dragging up a quote from page 12 or wherever it was:

<Bio withheld>

What does this mean? Zonos! Find out soon.

The Top 10 list is coming up so quickly! When will it be... next month?
(I didn't pay attention to the dates on the earlier posts.)

It was right after the last Top 10, but don't forget all my Sonic R stuff.
That's right. I did all that between the last Top 10 and this one. :D
Count that with what little SA stuff I did (which I can still change, if I hurry), please.
and put me in the top 10, whether I beat all of F-Man's records or not

I'm thinking maybe a Top Ranked for each game as well(or most games, like the ones with over 30 players, and it might vary between games for how many to list).  Then again, I'm just throwing my idea out in the open, so whether you agree with the idea or not is your decision.
